About Us

With a love for fashion and a background in the boutique business, I took a leap of faith and opened J. Quinn Boutique.  The name J. Quinn came from the first initial of my name, and my grandmothers maiden name.  The store opened its doors in September of 2017.  It would have never been possible without my mentor and friend, Mary Carol Garrity, owner of Nell Hill’s.  She graciously leased space in her store to help me live out my own dream and make it a reality. 

We carry a variety of unique and fashion forward items & hope to have something for everyone. We want women from all generations to be able to shop with us and find something they love. Our mission is to make every woman feel confident and beautiful and to provide them with a fun and positive environment to create the best shopping experience.

I graduated from University of Missouri in 2015. I currently  live in Kansas City, MO, with my two golden doodles, just minutes away from the store and my family.  My family is my biggest support system. My mom and my two sisters help out at the store and go to market with me. My dad has given me the best advice on starting a small business. I can’t forget my little brother Myles, whose helped me assemble shelves and unload boxes. This would have never been possible without them.
